STUDY

(I ). OBJECTIVE AND CHARACTERISTICS OF A SEAL

1.In ancient times ,how was the authenticity of documents of the rulers known? ( read 1 Kings 21 verse 8 and Esther 3 ; verse 12 ) 2.What are the three essential characteristics of an official  seal ?

(a) The name of the legislator , (b) His official position  . (c) His kingdom or extension of his domain and jurisdiction.

(II)  THE SEAL OF GOD

1. Where is the seal of God located ?( Read Isaiah 8 ;16)
2. What sole commandment of the Decalogue reveals the true God and the author of the Law ? (Read Exodus 20 ;verse 8 to 11)
3. What reason does God present in order for the Sabbath to be an eternal sign between and his people? (Read Exodus 31;verse 17) Take note ;There is a big and dangerous misconception amongst nations . Many people are taught that only Jews are God`s people.

Did you know that God is so loving that non Jewish people who realise the truth and call upon God have also been called blessed , receiving the power to be called the children of God? This means everything that the Jewish nation was entitled to ,non Jewish people have now also gained access to through the name and blood of Jesus Christ . Struggling with this point ? 4. What is the observance of the Sabbath a sign of ? ( Ezekiel 20 ; verse 20)
5. Apart from recognizing God as Creator ,what is the Sabbath a sign of ? ( Read 31 ;verse 13)
6. What special sealing is to occur before the winds of destruction blow over the earth ? (Read Revelation 7 ;verse 14 and Ezekiel 9, verse 3b & 4 Take note ;if you have studied other lessons ,you have surely learnt that the word Winds in prophecy symbolizes Wars and
7. Where did John see in a vision,(while he was exiled at the Island of Patmos for his faith) , the same group soon after and what did they have on their foreheads ? (Revelation 14 ;verse 1)

Take note ; This prophecy makes reference to another to another one, previously recorded in Joel 2 ;verse 32 , .’’Mount Zion’’ represented the final victory ,the liberation of God`s people at the end times. The 144 000 represent the remnant of God`s children and , just as the followers of the beast ,the political and religious power , had marks on the hands and foreheads ,those who are faithful to God they have their names and God`s name written on their foreheads. This is not literal writings .This is about a strong psychological and spiritual belief that will be before us in our minds as well as in our work dealings .We think with our heads and work with our hands,that is why buying and selling will be restricted on those who refused to be corrupted through false teachings.Dont agree with this truth ? Let us learn more ……….

8. What is said of the character of those sealed ? (Read Revelation14 verse 5)

Take note , The verse highlights the purity of this group in that they have not been contaminated with satanic values ; rather , they have remained faithful in their relationship with Jesus Christ. If we humble ourselves before God ,confess our sins and unlearn the old errors and study and accept the truth that is set before us ,God is able to wash and clean all the unwanted deceptions that has contaminated our minds and hearts.

9. How is the remnant church described ( Read Revelation 14 ;verse 12)

You might be a believer in God .You might believe your church keeps the ten commandments or may be you only believe in the love of love alone. Why did Jesus gave Love as a commandment? Was love not simplifying or summarizing the ten commandments ,the first four belong to God , the last six belong to our love for our neighbors and fellow men.

(III)  THE MARK OF APOSTACY-THE MARK OF A POLITICAL- RELIGIOUS POWER-THE MARK OF THE BEAST

1. What three things does the angel of Revelation 14 warn against ? (Read Revelation14 ;verse 9 to 10)
2. What power mentioned in Revelation 13 will impose this mark ? (Read Revelation 13 ;verse 16)
3. When the Sabbath of God , the Seventh day of the week ,Saturday is the sign of acceptance of God as Sovereign , what is the aknowledgement of accepting Sunday a sign of ? OF THE PAPACY`S POWER OF

Take note , Believers can worship God every day and every hour .To rest from your daily labour and worship GOD is a previledge and joy for all hard working people.Some wish to rest on Friday , Wednesday or Monday but they can not. The working world is under a system that mainly allows freedom to carry out personal duties ,mostly on weekends ,especially Sundays.The system is designed to free people on sundays ,allowing many to stay home or go to church.Saturday is mostly a half day for others and a shopping day for the rest of the world . Many protestant churches can try to deny the authority of the church of Rome ,but deny this truth is to close your eyes when a lion is circling you before it attacks you.

• Does the papacy aknowledge that it has changed or attempted to change God`s Sabbath to Sunday ?

Ignorant church members may try to deny a fact accepted by the top leadership .Read or listen to this quote from Catechism of the Council of Trent ,part III, ch.VI,25 it says . ‘It pleased the church of God (the Catholic Church ) that the religious celebration of the Sabbath day should be transferred to the Lord`s day.’’ End of quote . Is there a verse that supports these claims or any claim that Sunday became holy as a result of JESUS resurrection on what is now called Easter Sunday by the world ?

5. What is the attitude of the dragon toward the remnant people who keep the commandments of God ? (Read Revelation 12;verse 17)

Take note ,The dragon is the devil ,satan himself ,a liar ,a deceiver ,a destroyer ,an enemy of God .He works through individuals and groups of people who will choose to go against the written word of God. No sober person will choose to work with Satan except those who have desires for destroying other people or those with a desire for money and power ,they will surrender their souls to the devil for temporary gain. Foolishness.

• With what force will the mark of the beast be imposed ? (Read Revelation 13 ; verse 15 to 17)

7. The faithful people of God will finally obtain victory over what ? (Read Revelation 15 ;verse 2)

Take note ; “Sunday keeping is not yet the mark of the beast,and will not be until the decree goes forth causing men to worship this idol Sabbath. The time will come when this day will be the test,but that time has not yet came . Said one inspired writer”.

Why would you wait for that day to come ,when you can make a decision today ? The Sabbath ,Saturday ,the seventh day of the week , is the sign of recognition of God as creator ,LORD of the universe.

SUMMARY

By willing to study to take time to study scriptures and understanding scriptures ,we come to understand the prophecies of God and prepare for the world to come.If you dont believe that God is faithful and that he is a part of our earth`s history, how will be comforted to know that he is part of the future , a new earth where we will not suffer anymore.No more death ,no more confusion and no more evil.

The Sabbath is the sign of the recognition of God as Creator, Lord of the universe ,and our Redeemer from the kingdom of Satan.

To observe His day is to confirm that we long to worship God and to share His presence. This wonderful position is taken in stark contrast to those who worship the beast with political and religious origins that we have just studied.Worshipping is not just kneeling but it is also giving recognition ,honor and reverence .

OPPORTUNITIES

1. By defining the seal of God ,we can know to choose the right side in this cosmic fight.
2. By planning , as of now , encounters with the Lord on the sabbath day , we can naturally and intensely experience the worship of God and at the same time , mold our identity as Sabbath- keepers with the faith of Jesus Christ
3. By enjoying the Sabbath every Saturday ,we are producing an experience that will take place every week in the New Earth .

PROMISE

If we are humble and faithful to God and honestly honor and worship him in this world of troubles,he promises us a better future in the New Earth. (Read Revelation 22 ;verse 1 to 5 .

Some people worry about today`s problems ,trying to sort out the mess of our past without Jesus Christ ,oh what a dissapointment that awaits such. May God bless you as you make wise decisions based on the word of God and the blessed name of Jesus Christ
